The Kumawu Education Fund (initiated by Prof Nyarko to coordinate his youth development interventions in Kumawu) in 2017 selected 10 of the most deserving students from the schools within the Kumawu Traditional Area and awarded them GHS 2,000 each, for a total of GHS 20,000. CTED provided academic awards to 20 TKSHS students at GHS 500 each, amounting to a total of GHS 10,000.
