In December 2021, CTED sponsored another cohort of academic awards for TKSHS students. For this particular event, Mr. Roland Akosah, co-founder of the Akyerema Foundation, advocated for the inclusion of teachers in the awards ceremony to honor the top educators in the school along with the pupils. The District Chief Executive of the Sekyere Afram Plains District Assembly, the MP of Kumawu, and the District Director of Education were in attendance for the CTED-TKSHS awards ceremony. Students and teachers received a cash award of GHS 1,000 each. 26 students received awards with 10 teachers, for a total donation of GHS 36,000.
