Like most rural schools in Ghana, TKSHS is under-resourced, lacking in many basic amenities

There are several infrastructure needs in the school.

  1. Inadequate dormitories for boys and girls  

  2. Dilapidated buildings and facilities.  

  3. Inadequate dining hall space.

  4. Inadequate classrooms.  

  5. Inadequate toilet facilities for boys and girls.

  6. Classroom furniture.

  7. Renovation of old science resource center.  

  8. Insufficient bungalows for both teaching and non-teaching staff. 

  9. The aim of the Akyerema Foundation is to mobilize funds to address these challenges.
